DIY Woven Charm Bracelet

Check out this amazing charm bracelet! Isn't it lovely? Lets get started with this Woven Charm Bracelet DIY!

You’ll need:

• embroidery floss
• curb chain
• 7 skulls or charms
• 7 5mm jump rings
• 2 7mm jump rings
• 7 headpins
• 1 lobster clasp
• 2 bobby pins
• chain nose pliers and flat pliers

Start by cutting 8 strands of embroidery floss, with each strand measuring four times the length of the curb chain. Knot all the threads together, leaving about an inch and a half of slack. Separate the bunch into 2 groups of 4 strands. To easily weave the threads through the links of the chain, sandwich them between bobby pins. Clip the ends with a wire cutter if they are too big to go through the chain links. Lay the threads to the left of the bracelet and pull the right set from under the first link.

Pull the strands through the link and over the top of the left side. Lay the left set over the right set.

Pull it from under the same link and through

Drap the set over the top left and now lay the other set on top. Pull the top set from under the second link and through.

Once it’s pulled through the link, cross it over to the left and place the other set on top. Pull the top set from under the second link and through again. Notice each set goes through a link once – so twice total. Keep braiding.

Knot the strands together at the end and trim away any excess floss.

Thread a skull bead onto a headpin. I added a small gold bead because the opening of the skull bead was too large. Using chain nose pliers, fold the headpin 45 degrees to the left. While pinching the headpin, wrap the pin around the right side of the pliers.

Hold the loop tightly with the pliers and wrap the rest of the pin around the base of the loop 2-3 times. Trim away any excess wire.

Space out the charms and attach them with to the opposite side of the chain part of the bracelet with jump rings.

Continue adding charms. Add a clasp to the end of the bracelet with a large jump ring. Add a large jump ring to the other side to complete the clasp.

Woven. Charmed. And done!

DIY Beaded Bow Bracelet

If you follow my blog regularly you know how much I love big jewelry and on the top of that list are bracelets! This post is no exception. This cute and feminine beaded bow bracelet DIY is just the accessory to brighten up the simplest of summer outfits.

Because this bracelet is so quick and easy to make, you can make one for you and one for a friend.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE YOUR BEADED BOW BRACELET:

• 1 Large hose clamp
• About 2 yds of 1” ribbon
• Multiple strands of a beaded necklace or beads to string yourself
• Wire – super thin about 22 gauge or smaller
• Hot glue

Step 1
First unscrew your hose clamp to make it as large as you need it. You must be able to easily put your hand in and out of it without it falling off.
Take your hose clamp and your ribbon and starting at the top just under the screw part, wrap your ribbon around your hose clamp and secure it with a small drop of hot glue.

Step 2
Keep wrapping your ribbon tightly around your hose clamp until you have it completely covered and secure the end with a small drop of hot glue.

Step 3
Measure your strands of beads and cut them all the same length. I cut mine at 7 inches. You’ll need to make sure you can slip your hand into the bracelet and at the same time you don’t want them to hang down too much.

Step 4
Take your wire and wrap the end bead of each strand of beads together so that they are all attached and parallel. Do the same for the other end.

Step 5
Using your hot glue, glue your 2 center beads to one side of your ribbon wrapped hose clamp as close to the top as possible. Do the same for the other side.

Step 6
Add a little more hot glue to the sides of the beads you just glued down and attach the end beads to secure.

Step 7
Take your remaining ribbon and make a bow. I made mine in 2 sections.
First, I folded my ribbon back and forth twice to form the bow (I made a double bow). Secure your ribbon with a little hot glue in between each layer of ribbon.
Second, glue this part of your bow to the top of the ribbon wrapped hose clamp.Third, take another piece of ribbon and hot glue one end to the underneath side of your ribbon wrapped hose clamp to secure and wrap around the entire top of the hose clamp including the bow and cut your ribbon. Be sure to leave a small tail on your ribbon to fold over and glue down on the underneath side of your bracelet.And this is the result! Hope you like it! Because i do :)

Spike Bracelet DIY

Lets begin with this amazing Spike Bracelet DIY! 

• Large chain
• 1 Bracelet closure
• 2 Jump rings
• Ribbon
• 3 Large spikes
• Pliers
• Loctite or another glue to hold your spikes
• Fabric glue

step 1
Start with your large chain and measure it around your wrist. Cut your chain one link shorter than your wrist.

Keep in mind that when you add your closure, it will add another inch to the circumference of your bracelet.

I like to keep these bracelets from dangling too much.

TIP: If you accidentally cut your chain too short, you can add an extra jump ring to add length.

step 2
Using your pliers add your closure to your chain with your jump rings.

step 3
Depending on your ribbon, you will want to cut it down the middle to make it no more than an inch wide.

If you use a thinner ribbon, you wont need to cut it.

You can also use strips of fabric for this project too.

step 4
Measure your ribbon to be about 2 and a half times the length of your chain.

Starting in the middle of your length of ribbon, at one end of your bracelet, start wrapping your ribbon around your chain going down the entire length of your bracelet.

Do the same thing for the other side.

When you get to the end, tie your 2 ends of your ribbon together in a knot and secure with a small amount of fabric glue.

step 5
Lay your wrapped bracelet out flat and decide where you want your spikes to go.

Have your Loctite ready to secure your spikes.

Push the screw part of your spike through your wrapped chain, coming up through the bottom.

Put a small amount of Loctite inside your spike and screw it on to the screw part of the spike.

Repeat this for your other 2 spikes.

I must be on a bracelet kick right now, because as soon as I finish one I have an idea for another.

DIY: Woven Chain Bracelets

You’ll need:

• a curb link bracelet
• embroidery thread
• two bobby pins
• a pair of scissors

Cut 2 sets of 15 strands of embroidery thread, with each strand measuring four times the length of the bracelet. Knot the all the threads at the top, leaving about 2 inches of slack. Sandwich each set between a bobby pin – this will help you easily weave the threads through the links of the bracelet. Lay the threads to the left of the bracelet. Pull the first color (coral) from under the first link and over the top of the left side. (Click images to enlarge)

Lay the second color (blue) over the first color (coral). Pull the second color (blue) from under the same link and over the top left again. Repeat the steps, moving onto a new link: put the first color (coral) on top of the second color (blue) and pull it out from under the 2nd link and over the top left. Lay the second color (blue) on top of the first color (peach) and pull it out from under the 2nd link and over the top left again. Because the links of this particular bracelet are large, I wove the threads through twice on each link. If you are using a smaller linked bracelet, you should weave through each link once like this.

Repeat the steps until you reach the end of the bracelet. Finish it with a knot and trim the ends.

DIY Anklet

You’ll need:

• 14k gold filled small or medium rolo chain
• a bronze wishbone charm or any other small charm
• a gold filled lobster claw clasp with ring
• a gold filled 4mm jump ring
• 2 pairs of chainnose pliers

Cut the chain to length by measuring it around the ankle. Using the pliers in a back and forth motion, open the jump ring that is attached to the lobster clasp. Thread one end of the chain onto the ring. Close the ring.

Thread the wishbone charm onto the chain. Thread the chain onto the 4mm jump ring and close it with the pliers.

Honestly, that’s it! How incredibly easy was that?!

The same method can be applied to a bracelet or necklace – just search for charms online and you’re ready to make charm jewelry all summer long!

Ariana doet dat heel vaak, dat is ook heel erg leuk, je kan ook gewoon tweeten en dan kan ze het gewoon zien. En ik hou van Ariana's style, kleding alles is gewoon zo schattig. Ik ben gek op haar jurkjes.
Ze heeft ook youtube, voor de youtubers hier. Ze heet; osnapizari, ze zit er niet zo vaak op. Ze heeft een vriend, Jai. Hij komt uit Australië, hij was vroeger ook een fan van Ariana. En nu hebben ze een relatie.

DIY Macrame Bracelet

I love this DIY! Hope you enjoy it! I think its pretty cool and lovely, its really creative.

You’ll need:

• 4 yards of 0.5mm chinese knotting cord
• a connector or charm
•  an embroidery needle
•  a pair of scissors
• flat nose pliers (optional)
• a lighter (optional)

Start by cutting the knotting cord into two 30 inch, two 20 inch and one 10 inch lengths.  Fold the 20 inch piece in half, pull the loop through the ring, fold it over the ring, and pull the rest of the cord through the loop. Repeat the step on the other side of the ring. These strands will be anchored and remain stationary.

Center the 30 inch cord under the two middle strands. Fold the right cord over the middle strands and under the left cord. Pull the left cord under the right and middle strands and through the loop on the right side.

Pull tightly and slide the knot up to the top.

Finish the 2nd half of the square knot by folding the left cord over the middle strands and under the right cord. Pull the right cord under the left and middle strands and through the loop on the left side.

Pull tightly and repeat the steps – left, right, left, right . . . Continue knotting until the desired length is reached. Keep in mind that the clasp will take up approximately half an inch.

To finish the knots, thread one of the cords onto a needle and sew up the center of 3-4 knots along the backside. Pliers will help pull the needle through the tight knots.

Repeat the same step on the other cord.

After sewing up both knotting cords, trim away any excess. Save the scraps and melt the tips with a lighter to seal it for extra hold. Repeat the same exact step on the second half of the bracelet.

To make a sliding closure, shape the bracelet into a circle and overlap the middle strands. Use scraps to temporarily tie the cords together at each end.

Take the 10 inch cord and center it under the strands. Start tying square knots exactly the same way the bracelet was executed.

Stop at about half an inch and sew the knotting cords into the backside of the closure. Remove the temporary ties.

The two sets of middle strands are now the adjustable ties of the bracelet. Adjust to fit the wrist and tie each end into knots. Trim away any excess.

Your adjustable knotted bracelets are finished!! xx
